Financial Aid

It's FAFSA Season! Even if you do not think your family may qualify for Financial Assistance it is recommended that senior fill out the application. Keep in mind that many college scholarship programs require an application on file. The deadline to apply is March 2nd to qualify for a Cal Grant! However, if you missed it you are still able to apply to be eligible for federal funds.

                             New Directions

In an effort to capture as many high school seniors as possible before graduation, Fullerton College’s High School Outreach is piloting a new program called “New Directions.” New Directions is targeting the following students:

1) applied to a 4-year university and were denied
2) applied to a 4-year university and changed their mind about attending
3) and any other student that has decided to attend a community college

This Program will consist of the steps outlined on the attached flyer.  The purpose of this Program is to have students complete all matriculation steps before the end of May so they can qualify for priority registration.  Don't miss out on this great opportunity! New Directions Flyer.pdf

Transitioning to College

 

Transitioning to college is not only an adjustment for students, but for parents and families as well. To help ease into the process, OCDE is hosting a Transitioning to Collegedinner and workshop on May 17th from 5-9pm.

This workshop is designed for students and parents to help address the concerns about going to college, now or in the future. The cost of the event is $15 per person, however, fee waivers are available upon request.
